Words and symbols are important to us because we use words and symbols to communicate with one another. How many words are there in the English language? You would be amazed. Before we learned how to actually read a book, we started by learning the alphabet and then we moved to learning simple two and three letter words, and then we learned about rhyming words in order to spell words correctly. Once we got the hang of things, we started to learn other words with four or more letters. But what's really amazing is, we actually communicate with spoken words before we knew how to spell them. Nonetheless, being able to communicate those spoken words on paper can become quite troublesome. Therefore, this book will help children build their vocabulary and do exceptionally well on their spelling tests.
