increased economic integration

This is a trilingual book, written in English, French and Spanish. It puts forth a strong case for continued economic integration of Canada, US and Mexico. Various suggestions are made for increasing the cooperation and reducing trade barriers. These include cases where once some product like pharmaceuticals are tested as valid in one country, that the 2 others will accept that, without further testing. But if you read this book after 2008, during the ongoing recession, you might wonder whether such enthusiasm can prevail if protectionism rises in the US.
