Brain Dumps are popular in journaling communities. There are several different ways to 'brain dump' but ultimately, it's a method to get all the thoughts out of your head and onto paper quickly, leaving you with a clearer mind and feeling less overwhelmed.

You begin with a main idea in the center. It could be, "Birthday Party" or "Product Launch" or "Love Poem." From there, you add sub-ideas in the ovals and then break those down further into smaller details. The person mindmapping may draw additional branches and spaces on if they want to keep exploring further.
