Budget and Expense Tracker & Journal

Keeping track of money can be hard Setting financial goals and actually achieving them can be even harder. But you have made the right decision in purchasing this Budget Tracker & Journal. You will set goals and clearly define strategies you will use to achieve those goals, keep track of important financial dates like when rent or mortgage is due, write down all recurring expenses such as utilities and credit card payments, compare the income you bring in vs what you pay out, track non-recurring expenses such as grocery shopping or meals out so you can see where your excess money is going, then reflect on the month so you can start the next month with a new set of financial eyes. We are going to start of the month with GOAL PLANNING We should all have goals when it comes to our finances. Sometimes, we're not able to save what we would like. But there are tiny goals you can set for yourself every month to help get you in a better financial position Here are some examples of monthly goals you can set: -Only eat out once a week (you can then mark that date on your calendar )-Save $50 per paycheck-Start a 2nd income stream-Invest $100 a week into your side hustle-EtcThen you will mark important financial dates on your calendar - this is a good place to keep the important items in the front of your mind at all times, such as your mortgage or rent payment due date, car payment due date, subscription service due date, or any other important payments you have comping up for the month. The next section is to keep track of recurring monthly expenses. This is where your utility, credit card, rent, mortgage, insurance, cell phone, childcare, etc payments will go. At the end of the month, input your take home pay and what you paid out in bills to see how much you have left over every month. The next page's tracker is to keep track of non-recurring monthly expenses, such as meals out, extra shopping, one time payments such as a ticket or extracurricular activity. The reason for this is to have a visual of where your extra money goes every month. Take care to write down everything you spend so when you visit the last page of that month's journal entry you can reflect upon it and help set new goals for yourself You then have 2 blank pages at the end of every month to create mind maps, jot down calculations, and just help you brainstorm and plan for your next month At the end of your journal, I have included a Savings Tracker for you to use throughout the year if you have a goal to save a certain amount of money over the course of your year.
