British Sign Language (BSL) is a rich and varied language and the first language of over 85,000 people in this country.

As a BSL learner I designed this book to allow me to easily track what I'm learning in class and support my home practising.

This 6" x 9" book has 52 individual class pages with space to track:

New vocabulary/signs (handy for particular signs to practice that week)Key Themes/Topics. This area could be used for writing down exam themes, handshape information, grammar points etcNotes/Feedback. Track feedback your tutor gives you in class or note additional points you want to remember. Daily Tracker. 7 checkboxes to mark off how many days you've practised that week.

Following the individual class pages are 9 double page spreads with a Mind-Map page on one side and a Blank Dot-Grid page on the other.

Mind Maps are an excellent way to drill down into a particular theme or topic, detail the vocabulary you know/need to know in a particular area (eg Weather, Food, Holidays etc) or plan out conversations/presentations. Each Mind-Map page consists of:
