A great self-care read for a very difficult year

This book is not only a great introduction to modern witchcraft in many of its various forms, but it also invites us to learn where we exist within capitalism and what we can do to push back in a way that honors our ancestors and our autonomous bodies.

An absolute gift!

I loved every single page of this beautiful book. It made me feel closer to my mother, my grandmother and her mother. The stories of all the women in the book so similar and yet so different from the stories of the women in my family. Brujas: The Magic and Power of Witches of color has completely rekindled my interest in magic and the traditions of my ancestors. An absolute gift. Highly recommend it.
