The Bruce Trail cuts through Ball's Falls near Vineland, Ontario. Actually, there are two falls: Lower Ball's Falls and Upper Ball's Falls. Hikers love walking the Bruce Trail with or without their cameras. The Bruce Trail is manageable for tourists. Trees are beautiful and the two rushing falls are magnificent. The Lower Falls is 90 feet high and the Upper Falls is 35 feet high. We are fortunate to have these splendid natural wonders in the Niagara Peninsula. Over the past 20 years, I've amassed many photographs along the Bruce Trail around the Ball's Falls area. Autumn with the changing leaves is the best time but I also like winter when the rushing water of the falls stands out in the stark white background of snow. John Hartig hopes that people will enjoy his photo book which he painstakingly designed of the trees and trails of the Bruce Trail around the Ball's Falls Conservation Area.
