All of Bruce & Stan's books combine simple wisdom and delightful humor...But this one is extremely helpful for those who are in a rut with their prayer life. The book has icons in the margin highlighting key verses, questions you are likely to ask, and lists of several other books one might find useful. "Pocket Guide to Talking with God" is reader-friendly and witty. It is easy to apply their recommendations in our fast-paced lives. They can't do the parying for you, but they do give wonderful guidlines and simple suggestions to make your spiritual journey easier. If you think you might have trouble talking to God...(are you getting a busy signal?) then this is the book for you!

Funny, Down to Earth, Good for all denominations

This book is a great way to take the mystery out of prayer. Nolonger will you view prayer as some mystical holy act that only ordained people hope to capture the attention of God. Bruce and Stan write their book in the "...For Dummies" format making it easy to read and funny. I have purchased 5 of these books and given them to various friends and family who are at various stages of spritual growth. Practical and entertaining but not without substance and information. Buy it! Read it! Share it!!
