Great book

I like this book because it has great pictures and few words for the preschool age. You may also extend activities with the recipe of peanut butter play dough. One page shows a delicious looking brownie we extended the story by making brownies for our childcare activity.

Excellent book for presenting not just objects with color but the feelings colors give us.

Great concept book

This early concept book brings brown to life in the form of a step stool, paper bag, dog, football, and various yummy food items. Each two page spread is gloriously photographed, with large, easy to assimilate images for the preschool set. Notes are included on each page to give additional information on the selected "brown" topic, extending the reader/listener's knowledge. The controlled vocabulary and excellent photographs will extend the user's comprehension, making this a useful addition to an early concept collection.
