I grew up reading this book and was excited for my daughter to read it as well! But I was disappointed when “panda bear, panda bear what do you see” arrived instead. The concept of both books are the same but I was really looking forward to the brown bear one instead.

Came ripped

I bought this book for my little brother and once I got to the second to last page, I saw that the page was ripped off the book.

Wrong book

They did not send the book that I ordered.

Brown Bear Brown Bear

Book came with to many pages torn

Excellent Replacement

My son loves this book….well so much he wore out our first copy! I ordered this as a replacement. It is in really decent condition. I was able to throw out our other one. Very happy with purchase.

Received Panda Bear, Panda Bear, instead of Brown Bear, Brown Bear.

I ordered Brown Bear, Brown Bear but i received Panda Bear, Panda Bear.... the book i received was also in worse condition than what was described when I ordered Brown Bear.

Pages missing

This is a great book for kids who struggle with reading because each page tells you what’s going to be on the next page. (Ask brown bear what he sees, he tells you; the next page you’re asking that animal what they see.) It has repetition with a each new word. Unfortunately this book doesn’t really work well with pages missing in the middle. I still gave it 5 stars because the story itself is great.

I ordered this book in acceptable condition. When I received the book, half of the pages were ripped out of the book. There’s no way of putting the pages back in, so I have to buy an entirely new book.

Unacceptable condition!!!

Missing parts from the book. The book it’s bitten by a kid. It’s unacceptable.

Amazing book

My son enjoys this book and how colorful it is. The book was in great condition

Not a Good version

It is definitely not a Good version, 6 pages are totally torn, so I have to use tap to fix it. In a word, it is a disappointing experience.

Very good is very disappointing.

Bought to read with my six month old daughter. Condition was very good but upon receipt 3 pages have been shredded and one missing completely. Not sure who is grading on a curve here but a far stretch from very good.

Did not receive the right book

I recieved a book about panda bears... not brown bear brown bear...

"Very Good" condition was missing pages and torn

I am very disappointed in this purchase. My son needed this book for his class, but was unable to use it due to the book being torn and missing pages. I am upset that the website/company does not do anything about it. I understand the books are used and sold at a cheap price, but still. At least make sure someone else does not end up with the same problem as I did. Its false advertising.

Wrong item received

I ordered Brown Bear Brown Bear but received Polar Bear Polar Bear. I like that book but needed Brown Bear for my Great Niece's Birthday. She wanted Brown Bear, Brown Bear.

Children enjoy it

Wrong book sent but same author

I ordered Brown Bear Brown Bear but received Polar Bear Polar Bear. I like that book but needed Brown Bear for my September Curriculum. Oh well.

Acceptable Condition, Unacceptable

I ordered this book in acceptable condition, which stated on their website as "* Acceptable: A readable copy. All pages are intact, and the cover is intact (the dust cover may be missing). Pages can include considerable notes--in pen or highlighter--but the notes cannot obscure the text." what I received fell short of that description and arrived with taped pages and a page that is completely unreadable because a good 75% of it is missing. If I could attach a photo I would!

I ordered a book in acceptable condition. The book I received was taped together with missing pages. I expected wear and tear, as if it came from a house with a child. However, I expected to receive all of the pages. Do yourself a favor and order "like new".

Good condition was not acceptable

I was happy to find this book for a great price, and received it before my daughter's birthday. It was going to be one of her presents. I was VERY disappointed to find entire pages [obviously] torn out from the book. What a waste of money. Books that have missing pages should be noted in the description, and most definitely not be marked as "good condition!"

My son wouldn't put it down.

Ever since I was little I always loved Eric carle's books and illustrations so of course when I had my son I just had to get it and he will not put it down I am reading it nearly 10 times a day. The copy I got was in good condition too, not that a 2 year old cares 😂

Great for small children

I started reading this book to my 16 month old brother. He sits quietly through the entire book - looking at each page. We even read it a couple times making all the animals sounds. No other book I've read to him consistently keeps his interest. A must for early readers!! And for kids of my age of 12 I recommend the serie of Why Some Cats are Rascals ( Book 3)

Oso Pardo

I love this book, it is one of my favorites. My daughther learned the names of the animals and colors. I highly recommend it.

Oso pardo, oso pardo, ¿qué ves ahí?

Excellent resource trade book. Good translation of Brown Bear, Brown Bear.

A children's classic

Brown Bear, Brown Bear by Bill Martin Jr. and illustrated by Eric Carle is a classic book for young readers. The REPETITIVE (not rhyming) text is what makes the book easy for little ones to memorize. The book introduces the very young to animal names and color words. The simple, REPETITIVE text encourages even the youngest of readers to chime in. An excellent choice and a must have in your child's library.

A Must Have Book for all Children.

Brown Bear, Brown Bear has provided my child with reading enjoyment since 9 months of age. The colors are outstanding and eye-catching to the little ones. This is most definately her favorite book. (As the book shows). It teaches children of various animals and associates them with colors. At the age of 14 months, my daughter could depict every picture and state it by name and color. True educational book for the young at heart . If your child does not have this book, trust me, buy it - it is well worth it. It's companion book, "Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What do you hear." is as phenomem.
