The story takes place in a world where monsters, beasts, and magic are nothing out of the ordinary. Some had embraced the while others still live in fear of the idea of them. Krea Owenton's life had been crumbling ever since her mother passed away. She tries to stay positive as the responsibilities pound on her after she became the heir to a kingdom and as she loses what's left of her family to demons. Along the way, she tries to fix what her family destroyed, but she ends up starting a war. While trying to win it she realizes that people never stop making friends until the day they die, and that sometimes those friends might even be closer to one than their own family.
