They call themselves a religious community at The Larches. But is it a cult? The people living there wouldn't say so but it has the signs of a cult. There's the charismatic leader, Elijah, who is always right. Then there's the fear of the outside world, plus they are not allowed to contact outside family or friends. Liam, a former alcoholic, is grateful for being rescued from the streets and appreciates the community life but at times he finds the restrictions hard, especially when he falls for Jess. Although he definitely wouldn't call it a cult, as time goes by, he learns that this is not a 'normal' community.
