Some books often are positioned soundlessly in the corner of your mind until it's time to dispense the kaput product before your audience. Some books need to be coaxed onto the paper. Meanwhile, there are still other books that plead to be printed, with an earnestness unable to be muzzled. Sentences may hurdle with recklessness. This is one of those books for sure. I want to share a story with you. It's a tough story, but one I need to communicate. It's about being broken. Broken, yet......Maybe you are broken, and perchance you do not even know that you are broken. We're not complete, life indeed is a process, some days good and others well..... If we are honest some would say Life is hard, wouldn't you agree? Some things I anticipated would happen in my life, unfortunately, didn't; while other things I never imagined, emerged before my wide-open eyes. Life doesn't end with brokenness; that's where it begins. If I may perhaps share a message; it would simply be frequently kids who go through trauma whether it be loss, abuse or neglect are often misinterpreted whether it's in schools and/or just everyday life. Typically, these are those kids who will most likely not perform well, behave rebelliously and sometimes just don't fit in. For one reason or another, this represents our schools being that they are typically set up to best benefit children from supportive homes, who frequently display good behavior.
