Broken Together: A Minister's Daughter is a multi-genre work including poetry, short prose, and essays, punctuated with biblical meditations in poetic and dramatic form. The work explores addiction and mental health issues in religious families, as well as sexual molestation, gun violence, war, COVID-19, and the "American Dream." One of the work's goals is to soften the distinction between "sacred" and "secular" so that all of us, Christian and non-Christian, may find ourselves in the work, and the voiceless may find a voice.
