Jackie encountered several bullies in her early years, but her biggest bully was at home, it was her father. As she grew older, her father whom she recognized as "the man" often gave her a disturbing and evil look because Jackie who was named Jack at birth was not what he expected.

The more he realized that he couldn't change her, the angrier he became and the more harm he caused. At the age of eighteen, Jackie broke her silence and stood up to her father.

In reading this breathtaking story, you can't help but wonder, will Jackie hate her father? Does Jackie's father even deserve her love? The truth is, her father did not deserve her love, but she never hated him. She only let go of him because blood is not always thicker than water.
