Odessa's unstable upbringing began at the hands of her mother's mental, verbal, emotional and physical abuse. As a kid she was the victim of sexual abuse by two male family members and by a woman who was not related to her she tells about these abuses in detail and uncut the same way they happened to her. She discusses up close and personal about how her mother was in and out of her and her siblings lives as kids and how she was left to take care of them alone most of the time with no food or water or even lights in their home. After making the biggest move of her life that changed her life forever, when a family trip to a bike rally held in Myrtle Beach turns into a tragic car accident and causes the deaths of five loved ones and the permanent disability of her son Jamar it seems like fate has robbed the Williams family again this time of all their children, all but one. Odessa was left to deal with all the guilt of the car accident while trying to care for her disabled son. She began dealing and coping with everything that happened in her life all at once. She began being haunted by the sexual abuses as a child and the unforgetting scenes from the car accident.
