Broken: Back to Reality
What happens when the nightmare ends-but the real fight is still waiting?
In BROKEN: BACK TO REALITY, Officer Dwight Allen wakes from a terrifying dream only to find himself back inside the world he knows too well: long shifts, dangerous prison politics, strained loyalties, and a system where the truth is often buried under paperwork, policy, and silence.
As old grievances resurface and hidden personnel practices begin to unravel, Allen is drawn into a widening investigation involving promotions, Internal Affairs, leadership decisions, staff complaints, and years of questionable workplace practices. But the deeper he goes, the more complicated the truth becomes.
Not every complaint is retaliation.
Not every supervisor is corrupt.
Not every bad decision was made with bad intent.
Allen must learn to separate suspicion from proof, personal frustration from institutional failure, and justice from revenge.
Alongside Lieutenant Holmes, Marcus Cole, Captain Sealock, and a growing circle of officers willing to speak openly, Allen finds himself helping expose flawed systems while confronting his own assumptions about leadership, accountability, and what real change looks like.
Grounded, tense, and deeply human, BROKEN: BACK TO REALITY is a story about corrections, workplace pressure, institutional reform, resilience, and one man's refusal to stop asking hard questions.
The nightmare may be over.
But reality has its own monsters.
