Nyaan commits the taboo of calling her husband by his name. She is required to cleanse the land and appease the gods. She cooks the food she is to appease the gods only for someone to steal and eat what she cooked. All hell is let loose over this taboo only for someone to urinate on the sacred gourd the people were to swear by to fish out the culprit who stole and ate the food of the gods. By this last taboo, the freedom and impunity bred by the religion of Yahweh as the people of Chidadan refer to Christianity, have done their worst. Agan comes to the rescue but it is too late. Chidadan is broke and remains broke.
