This book is a well written and helpful companion to both a first year undergraduate course and A-level politics. Although wider reading is necessary for an undergraduate course, and to obtain a good grade at Alevel, this book provides a basic and up to date framework around which to work, pointing the reader towards further reading and putting that further reading into context. And for those who do last minute revision, the summaries at the end of each chapter are very useful.
