I truly enjoyed reading this book not only because it was extremely informative, but because it also has a sense of humor behind it and leaves you with the hope that you can fight the industry. It has ALL the proof you'll ever need that car manufacturers are only concerned with one thing: PROFIT. I recommend "Bring on Goliath" to anyone who wants to know how to fight back and protect themself.
A Real Eye Opener

This book was a real eye opener. I know the auto industry is powerful. But what I didn't know is how far it will go to keep its money. Bring on Goliath gives many details about an industry that says anthing to make a sale, but quickly turns its back on you when problems surface. The author gives excellent advice on what we can do when our "friendly dealer" stops being so friendly.
Dude, Where's my Lemon?

My favorite book since Stupid White Men. Must reading for anyone who owns a car.
Education for the hapless consumer.

I have owned a lemon. Had I known more about the lemon law I would have been able to take some action against the manufacturer. Instead the big car makers profited further by my need to purchase another one of their peices of junk to replace my first lemon. What's the difference between taking a $20 defective clock radio back to Wal Mart and taking a $20,000 defective car back to the dealer or GM? NOTHING! Yet the average consumer is intimidated by the thought of such a daunting task. When they do get fed up with a defective product they payed a years salary for and try to get satisfaction from the dealer or manufacturer on their own, they get a hearty "screw you". This book is about what everyone should know. Don't be taken advantage of like I was, buy this book. Entertaining and informative.
Michael Moore with a Law Degree
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 22 years ago
When I read Bring on Goliath, I couldn't help thinking back to Roger and Me, Michael Moore's first film about General Motors. The auto industry will hate this book. It reveals an anti-consumer corporate attitude that is revolting. This is the type of book I would expect from Moore if he were a lawyer. Vince Megna uses the courts, instead of videotape, to take on the auto industry. Goliath is a very interesting anti-corporate read from a unique perspective. A+
