Brilliant Colors

Dr. Peter Benny is a world famous Explorer/Documentarian looking to seal his legacy with one final trip to a far off remote island in order to uncover and record a previously believed extinct exotic bird. Everything is going according to plan until his plane crashes and he becomes separated from his crew. While looking for his fellow adventurers, he ends up unintentionally discovering an entirely different species, a group of small, peculiar, brightly colored creatures called the Grays. He makes several discoveries about this fantastical group: (1) despite their gorgeous complexion they're completely color blind and unaware of their beauty, (2) they are easily deceived and eager to deceive themselves, and (3) they have an upside-down value system in regards to what is actually good for their wellbeing. As the journey goes on, and through several interactions with the Grays, Dr. Benny begins to make many more discoveries-each more important than the last.
