Brigitte Bardot: España, cine, discos y vida (Spanish Edition) [Spanish]

Unusually, despite the planetary uproar that generated and the numerous filming he did in Spain, there was no book in Spanish on Brigitte Bardot. This is the first. The veteran journalist of Heraldo de Arag?n, Mat?as Uribe, enters fully into the world of the beautiful french actress to compose in this book a rich mosaic with his films, his records and his life, while at the same time, through the press of the moment, traces the difficult incursion of his cinema and his name in a Spain fenced to live iron by the backwardness and Franco's censorship. A true story that reads like a novel thanks to the prose "agile and forceful" with which it is written, in the words by the author of the preface, Agust?n S?nchez Vidal, Professor of Cinema and Literature at the University of Zaragoza,. Renowned musical critic, Mat?as Uribe offers in this way a meticulous reconstruction of the fertile discography left by B.B., unknown and even undervalued by the French themselves, when he really managed to carve bright sonorous sculptures. A facet in which he also emitted his own light. Obviously his intense personal life and, even less, his films are left out, but they take the prominence of the book from the first moment with the scandalous 'And God created the woman' and then recreates in many of the jewels that rolled and even in the less salient ones, because in the end, as Billy Wilder said, Brigitte illuminated the screen with an extraordinary luminosity. Without falling into the free dithyramb, flattering when it is the time and also criticizing when appropriate, the journalist manages to outline a new and unprecedented semblance of the great female icon of the 50-60, liberator of sexist atavisms and whose influence still beats in the world from today.
