William Lacel "Jerry" Lee was born in parker Co., Texas. He Graduated from Weatherford High school in 1923 and received a degree in Agriculture and Animal Science from Texas A&M College in 1927. He was also ranked a 2nd Lieutenant in ROTC. He entered the Air Force in 1929 and retired in 1959 as a Brigadier General . He taught Dwight D Eisenhower bow to fly and was dubbed as "father of the Philippine air Force" General Lee lead the 49th Bomb Wing in WWII, and participated in bombing missions to Ploesti and other strategic targets. He received 12medals and many honors. Major General Twining ranked him as one of the top 8o the 116 general officers.
