The collection is full of poems written over the past five years as the authors have been processing the loss of their father and the changes that accompany growing up and leaving home. These 116 poems, divided into nine sections, detail many of the thoughts, emotions, and experiences that have surfaced for each of the authors during this time period. Written for anyone who is interested, these poems are meant to inspire and connect with the reader as they weave a raw and real story that touches on many themes. The cover art was created by Jennifer Chao, a friend of Christina Collins.
