BRIDGEND follows young Sarah (Hannah Murray) who accompanies her policeman dad, Dave (Steven Waddington) who is sent to the eponymous small town to investigate a mysterious rash of suicides among its teen inhabitants. At first Sara has trouble adjusting as the new girl, while Dave's efforts to uncover the source of the tragedies are rebuffed by the village teens. When Sara becomes infatuated with a dangerous local, Jamie, she finds herself becoming in a dark and ritualistically strange youth culture that threatens to tear apart not only her relationship with her father, but her sanity as well.
