Best First Chapter Ever Written

Read the first chapter- the rest is only great but the first is a complete dream come true. Enjoy- I did.

True Adventurers! This is the best book I've read in years.

What seemed like a curiously interesting title turned into an electrifying book about a seven year journey around the world. The author painted a vividly detailed picture of her long adventure and how she changed along the way. I would have never imagined how a cruise around the world could be so marvelous and at the same time terrifying. I highly recommend this book of exploring new lands, cultures, and friendships to anyone with a glimmer of adventure in their spirit.

A facinating journey

An exceptionally well written, interesting and exciting book. Once I started reading, I found it hard to put down.

A Mid-life Round the World Honeymoon

From Robert Peterson, retired syndicated newspaper columnist with King features "Life Begins at Forty" and past International President of Circumnavigator's Club: "Over the years I've read a dozen or more books documenting the pleasures and pain of sailing around the world in one's own boat. But I've never been more touched or captivated than by Alicia Blodgett's new book about her fairytale seven year round-the-world honeymoon on a lovely yacht with all the amenities.....The book glows with both heartache and romance, for it tells how true love entered Alicia's life following an unhappy 17 year marriage....A screen writer could easily turn this tale into a successful movie script."

About time a book came along with a happy ending!

This was a fun book to read as there was never a dull moment. A candid log of a land lubber who turned first mate for the love of her captain!
