Isa's best friend goes missing during their high school graduation trip to Europe, and all clues seem to indicate that she has been abducted by extraterrestrials. Isa tries to make sense of it while being guided by synchronicities and recurring dreams about an ancient society in which she's the bride of an otherworldly man who is considered divine by her people. Things get even stranger when she meets that someone in real life-Nuua. Isa witnesses Nuua killing two men, but he claims to be protecting her from fellow extraterrestrials who are abducting women for a hybridization project. Isa suspects her best friend to be one of those abductees, and the only way to find out is to put her trust in Nuua. As the story unfolds, Isa not only goes on a rescue mission to help her best friend but also unveils her past life story during which she was the so-called bride of the gods.
