Breaking Faith

By M.S. Abell

Tempest Phillips thought her life was complicated enough navigating the shoals of Coven and World politics to keep her chosen family safe and prosperous. She's experiencing odd fluctuations in her psychic abilities and the result of one surge changed her life forever when she became bound to a many thousands years old FolKin Elder buried in a medical pod on her neighbor's land.Daire D'eath grants her permission to excavate the land and rescue the offworlder. Then the shocks start rolling in beginning with a murder of a beloved relative, rescuing the security team alleged to be the killers, and answering a challenge and duel with a Coven CEO.She is distracted from her growing feelings for Daire by the revelation that her Captain and member of her heart family is royalty from another dimension and his Tribe, its allies and several demi-Folk Flairs need sanctuary from the ruling class. And the dimensional portal they used to crossover has to be closed before his estranged, mentally deranged family invades.Oh, if that isn't enough, the Elder's Lair is on its way to Earth from the home planet. He's the only thing standing between the Lair and extinction and through the danger to Tempest he could lose his life. The Mistress is pissed and she's coming in ready to shoot. No pressure...This novel is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. There are some unresolved plot threads. The HEA is a long-term build up although there are sexy times in the novel.
