When a mutual acquaintance introduces Dale and Ingrid, the awkward exchange student is unable to resist Ingrid's charms because he is studying abroad for the first time. At the same time as Oskar, his new mentor, tells Ingrid about the pain she caused him years ago, he becomes involved with her.
