EXCELLENT BOOK

I must have every bread machine baking book there is but I keep going back to this slender volume because it has recipes that none of the others have. It also has the usual staples. Another reviewer wrote that the recipes didn't have enough flour, but I haven't had that problem. Sometimes very humid weather can mean you have to add more flour, maybe that's the problem. I also don't see any problems with timed recipes, just make sure you use the "or margarine" option where it says "butter or magarine" ;)

I purchased this book just after purchasing my bread machine. It's fabulous! Being a staunch "make it by hand" person, I was sceptical that I could produce decent bread using technology as an ingredient. The Bread Machine Baker has shown me the way. I particularly recommend the peasent bread recipe. Yum!

EXCELLENT BOOK!

This is a great book! I used to have trouble with bread machine recipes until I got a new machine. I wont say what I had before but now I have a Breadman and every recipe comes out perfect!

Very Good

I bought this book after seeing the author signing and demonstrating in a local bookstore. The recipes are excellent. I particularly recommend the Sour Cream Bread (she said it can be done with light and low-fat sour cream but I used real sour cream and it tasted deliciously buttery), Sally Lunn Bread, Swedish limpa, and Italian Pannettone. I also liked the tomato-basil pizza crust, which you do by hand, though it's a little hard to work with if you're not used to it. The best part of the book is the condiments, like pesto and tapenade. If you're looking for a recipe book with ideas for giving bread as gifts, this is the one!
