Brave Little Tilly Gets Her Vaccine: The Little Pinch

By Evie Janickson

Is your little one nervous about their next shot? Tilly was too.

Tilly has a doctor's appointment tomorrow - for her vaccine. Her friend told her it hurts, and now her tummy feels like a hundred little hops. She can't finish dinner. She can't stop worrying.

But with her mother close by and her beloved bear Jellybean tucked in her arms, Tilly learns something surprising at the doctor's office: her body has tiny helpers inside it, working hard to keep her safe - and a vaccine just helps them practice, so they're ready if germs ever come.

It's still scary. It's still just a little pinch. And Tilly does it anyway.

A gentle, honest story to help children (and the grown-ups holding their hand) face vaccine day with a little more courage - and a lot more understanding.
