I was a nice guy. I was apparently too nice because I couldn't get the woman I didn't even like to leave me alone.

I had tried to be mean to her, but she wasn't getting the hint. And I hadn't left hints, I'd said straight out she needed to leave me alone.

The woman would not leave me alone and the woman I did want was left standing on the side watching and waiting.

I had to get this figured out before I lost the most important person in my world.

He was everything. I wanted to be the center of Creek's world and I was well on my way to getting there. If that bitch would just stay out of the way.

My life up to this point had been really horrible. This was my chance to be sort of normal.

That's all I wanted was normal, even if it was just sort of normal. But it would only be perfect if Creek was there with me.
