The real thing

A South African will only write good things about South Africa, not the ugly apartheid the world has come to know. At the time apartheid was in force, even the USA practiced racial discrimination. Those who lived at the time of these stories, never knew that they were doing anything wrong. It was only later, that the horrors of apartheid became reality. The author states implicitly in his introduction that this is a book that is written to enjoy the stories, not the political strife. Enjoy the stories as they are.... Looking for politics in other stories, for example the book, 'The Vase with the Many Coloured Marbles,' details the horrors of the apartheid system. Enjoy the read. I did.
