Bozo Amembal: Life and Times

Thanks to the internet, the author came across Bozo, via her own blog-friend Sylvia Kirkwood in Seattle, who was a blog-friend of Deepak Amembal, of Mumbai, who has graced this book with his very perceptive portraits of Bozo. Yes, the earth is round, and I got a new friend in Deepak. Bozo came to them, and became an Amembal, when Deepak's young daughter brought him home in 2003, nurtured him, and he became family.

The author, has a habit of commenting on blogposts in verse. Bozo's expressions were an inspiration, and the frequency of verse increased in direct proportion to the blogposts about Bozo. Deepak very kindly tolerated all this. The author and her friend even made a special trip to the Amembal residence in Bandra, to see Bozo.

This is an ode to someone who was one of us. He is now among the stars up there, having crossed ṭhe rainbow in 2019.
