Book Overview

""Box and Cox"" is a comedic play written by John Maddison Morton Esquire. The story revolves around two men, Mr. Box and Mr. Cox, who unknowingly rent the same room from a landlady. The two men work opposite shifts and never meet, but their schedules begin to overlap, causing confusion and chaos. As the men try to work out their living situation, they each discover secrets about the other that threaten to unravel their peaceful coexistence. With witty dialogue and unexpected twists, ""Box and Cox"" is a classic farce that has entertained audiences for over a century. It is not the case only with the coals, Mrs. Bouncer, but I've lately observed a gradual and steady increase of evaporation among my candles, wood, sugar and lucifer matches. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
