From WILLA Award winning author Kim Taylor Blakemore, a novel of dreams, impossible odds, and the enduring bond of friendship... NEW YORK, 1883: Gamblers and thieves, immigrants and street urchins,... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book is well written, I read it years ago, misplaced it and wished to purchase it again. The condition was listed as "Very Good". It is actually "Very Bad" or "Garbage". The cover is destroyed, with black marker scribbles all over the inside. It iis an obviously stolen library book, sensor sticker and all. The thief clumsily attempted to destroy evidence of this, cutting a huge chunk out of the cover. The price is outrageous for such awful condition. I purchased a beautiful brand new, sealed, hard cover copy of the Great Gatsby a little over half what this book cost. I want a refund and whomever this book came from should be barred from ever selling books again.
Amazing

Though the book slightly drags in very few parts, It has a great plot and the characters are ones you can relate to if your a teen or just a little older. Kim Taylor really out did her self with this book.
