In BOULDERS IN THE SAND Marjorie Orr explores the hardness of some when the deranged are in high places. In "when they throw stones" she asks ..".what can one do/in the disarray of chaos...." She .."..sinks into the paper..." in the poem, "the paper listens." in "phantom friends" she explores all those friends who never respond to her even though she knows they are there. In the poem "washed of sins" she writes, "some never get the dirt off...." and ends one poem with .."..on a boulder no one/will be able to move" and is hopeful ..".in the budding bloom of the truth" tossing all the boulders aside.
