At the summit of Mt. Hesuro lies the ancient Bondun Monastery, run by the wise Sage Perumi. She and her fellow monks spend their days meditating, but many of them have been getting sick for some reason. Maybe that's enough proof for the hyperactive 16-year-old Hibo Bedia to "expose" them. After all, any place this peaceful must be hiding something scandalous, right? Artist Moris Keita disagrees, and just wants to be left alone as he attempts to paint the landscape. That's when Rono Kenuk shows up in search of the next clue to the treasure. Trouble may have followed him, however, as Fixer is after the clue as well. And it seems Fixer might actually know why the monks are getting sick. Perhaps it has something to do with Perumi's mother, who never really liked Perumi and her monastery to begin with. A time traveler. An exiled king. And a treasure. Too much is never good.
