Born 4 A Reason: A True Story

By Anthony M. Knox

Born 4 a Reason is not just the title of a book. It is a statement and message to anyone who will allow me to bring to their attention the belief that we are all given spiritual gifts, and if we don't recognize and utilize our God-given gifts for something productive and positive, we might miss our calling in life. Born 4 a Reason is a true life story that pulls no punches about author Anthony M. Knox Sr.'s missed opportunity to finish a promising high school sports program and go to college. Instead, a night out with friends in Sacramento, California, resulted in his becoming a victim of gang violence, thus turning this once promising sports jock into an unforgiving, gutta-thinking, gun-toting street gang member bent on revenge. That lifestyle quickly led Anthony Knox to spend his youthful and most productive years behind bars. Born 4 a Reason is a fast-paced, hard-hitting autobiography that will alert your mind, tug at your emotions, and leave you thinking, making it hard to put down this book once you pick it up and start reading it. Born 4 a Reason is a winner because it addresses the matter of being held accountable for one's actions, something to which we can all relate.
