Borderline Hunt: A High-Stakes Manhunt Thriller with Nonstop Action and Deadly Conspiracies
THE CRASH WAS NOT AN ACCIDENT.
THE MANHUNT WAS NOT REAL.
SHE WAS PART OF THE PLAN.
State Trooper Dani Cruz is running routine highway patrol on an ice-slick northern interstate when a prison transport bus crashes two miles ahead. Three corrections officers are dead. Five inmates are missing. An armed extraction team vanishes into the snow.
Dani arrives first on scene. Within hours, her cruiser is stolen, a civilian family is taken hostage, and her name appears on a document recovered from the bus, labeled "Phase Two."
She was placed on that highway deliberately.
The fugitives are not fleeing. They are being delivered, to a decommissioned facility that doesn't appear on any map, where a coerced bomb technician is being forced to open a door that someone needs opened badly enough to kill for.
The federal manhunt is cover. The border closure is engineered. And the institution Dani serves may be the threat she's facing.
One trooper. No backup. No authority.
The truth is north, past the last road, past the last camera, past the last person who was told to look away.
BORDERLINE HUNT is the second thriller from J.D. Rourke, a frozen-ground, high-velocity pursuit for readers of Jack Carr, Brad Thor, and Vince Flynn. Institutional betrayal. Winter warfare. One woman who will not stop.
