Boone's Adventures is a modern-day children's novel written especially for young readers (ages 6 to 10). The story of Boone is a completely updated version of a classic children's story about a loveable dog and his adventures with his animal friends, based on the Kneetime Animal Stories books. Boone is part of a litter of 5 puppies who goes to live on a farm called Forever Green Acres where he grows up in a loving home, amongst the other farm animals. He is especially fond of Ali, the girl who takes care of him. Then one day, after talking to some of the other farm animals, Boone decides to run away to explore the world outside the farm. That is when his real adventure begins.With 16 short chapters, children can easily read the novel on their own, or together with an adult. Each chapter also includes five topics of discussion for classroom use or for parents/instructors to discuss the broader themes with their children.
