Kanran and Kanyin were both farmers and neighbours but they were not the best of friends. Reason being that Kanyin was more successful and famous for his hardwork coupled with good characters which gave him the edge over Kanran generally regarded in the village as a lazy drunk.Kanran thus became jealous and envious. This became more pronounced when Adun - a beautiful damsel behind his heart turned down his love advances and fell for Kanyin before they later got married. This did not go down well with Kanran who started a silent war to retaliate. This time around there was no saving grace; he has to face the punishment. The last straw.....
