We have to do better as African parents and balance books and sports with our youth. I must admit that I recently read Booker T Washington and the Souls of Black folks and I wish I had done this in high school. We have to do better as parents and make our kids read before the smart phone disables their brain use. Critical thinking is key and I admit I made a mistake but it's never too late to correct an issue.
