This particular copy is somewhat difficult to read because the language is not modernized. It is a translation from 14th century French into English, and it is quite difficult to navigate at first. The book essentially is an outline of how La Tour-Landry believes his daughters should live. He gives several examples of bad women, good women, etc. If your a history student, in the middle ages, I would suggest this--particularly if your into gender history.
