Overall great book, lots of great detailed B&W pictures with detailed descriptions and makers name.
Some details are fishy, like the Jim Bowie sandbar fight happened 1831/32...it actually happened 1827!!! Some other minor details are incorrect...a French knife is called a Laguiole...its eventually made in the Laguiole area near Thiers in French but not called such. An Mediteranian styled knife was described as early Sheffield Barlow!??? It's a general book about knives, I get that....but if you do some research, especially expecting "knife people" to buy your book....be more detailed and precise!! About 3 3/4 to 4 stars for me...but for $8 bucks you can live with that...I think...lol
