Health and a Reader

My 8-year-old son read this to me for Health. It is a Bodyworks book. I love it when we can get a little reading practice mixed with our other subjects. This book had a very good overview of skin and hair. The text was simple enough for 2nd or 3rd graders but not so simple as to insult them. There were great photos on each page. The book covered skin and its parts, touch, problems, pigment, cancer, care, hair and its parts, color, loss, molting, and care. It was a good book that went a bit more in depth than the text we have.
