Bob Plants a Garden
From the creator of Bob Builds a Birdhouse comes another hands-on adventure with Bob
Bob is ready to make something new, but this time he is trading his hammer and wood for a shovel, seeds, and a watering can.
In Bob Plants a Garden, Bob searches his backyard for the perfect sunny spot to grow vegetables. Once he finds it, there is plenty of work to do. He prepares the soil, chooses his seeds, plants neat little rows, and carefully gives them water.
Before long, tiny green sprouts begin popping through the dirt
But growing a garden takes patience and hard work. Bob waters his plants every day, pulls pesky weeds, and keeps a close eye on his growing vegetables. When some curious backyard animals discover his garden, Bob puts his building skills to work and makes a little fence to keep his plants safe.
Week by week, Bob's garden grows bigger and greener until it is filled with tomatoes, carrots, lettuce, green beans, cucumbers, radishes, pumpkins, and more.
Finally, harvest day arrives, and Bob discovers just how much can grow from a few tiny seeds and a little determination.
Filled with bright, colorful illustrations and simple gardening fun, Bob Plants a Garden introduces young readers to where food comes from while encouraging patience, responsibility, creativity, and the joy of working with your own two hands.
Perfect for children who love gardening, building, nature, vegetables, outdoor adventures, and learning how things grow.
And when Bob looks at everything he accomplished, there is only one question left...
What should I make next?
