Led from the front by blue-eyed singer Damon Albarn, Blur swept an unprecedented four awards at the 1995 Brits and went onto win the great 'Britpop battle' with Oasis when both bands went head-to-head for chart honours.
I was a bit disappointed by this, though it's many nice pics,I don't think the facts and the story is that great.I recommend you to read Stuart Maconie's book instead,"3862 Days".The book Linda Holorny has written here is VERY slim, and it doesn't cover the history of Blur further than 1995.
Blur's the best, and therefore so is any book about 'em!

This is a nice Blur book to start a collection with. The writing in itself is not the best I've ever seen, some details are wrong, but then I'm a total nutter so I notice EVERYthing. It's great if you don't know a whole lot about the band, as it covers their history and problems in the past. And the pictures are great, tons of them covering most of the pages, a bit Damon-centric but then what's wrong with that? There's quite enough Graham, Alex and Dave in there too, so have fun staring.
THIS BOOK IS HOT!!!!!!!

The 2nd best Blur book that I have...lots of awesome pictures, and the bio is good too. The only bad part is that it contains the word "mime", but other then that, it's stellar
