This is a story about a young girl, who was born in a small farm town ? where everyone wants to know what?s going on next door. Only often it is better not to know what?s going on there. The part of Germany is called Schlesien. I am the young girl. I live in one of these valleys and growing up there is filled with love and hate. This is my life story and it is not a normal one. Relatives: some are poor, some are rich. Some with high positions, some with low-paying jobs. Some are for the Nazi regime, some are against it. What war can do to people. People who lived a normal, friendly life ? how this can turn to hate and murder. No, it?s not a nice story and maybe some should read it.
