This book is not like other guide books. It doesn't cover restaurants and hotels in Jerusalem. The guide book is a historical guide through the history of the holy city. It covers the history of churches, mosques, jewish holy places, city walls, etc. in a way that makes other guide books treatment of the historical data look like a childrens book!!!!THIS IS THE MOST THOROUGH AND IN DEPTH GUIDE BOOK ON JERUSALEM WHICH I HAVE READ ABOUT THE FASCINATING HISTORY OF THE CITY!!!!I am looking forward to the new edition of this "must" which is going to be published in 2002.
